Discover the untouched beauty of East Jaintia Hills with our Chympe 1-Day Adventure Tour, where you’ll experience a rare combination of trekking, off-roading, caving, and waterfalls. This package is designed for true explorers who want to go beyond ordinary sightseeing.

Guests must arrive at Lumshnong in the morning, where our team will receive you before heading towards Chympe village. Depending on the season and preference, guests can choose to trek, take a 4x4 ride, or a mix of both to reach the site

The Chympe Caving Experience

One of the highlights of this tour is the exclusive caving adventure, operated and guided by our trained team

Guests enter the cave through a bamboo raft/boat across a serene water passage.
All required safety gear is provided – life jackets and headlamps.
Inside, you’ll witness awe-inspiring natural formations and underground landscapes.
Hidden inside the cave are crystal-clear natural pools where guests can take a refreshing dive and swim, always accompanied by our trained guides.
The activity lasts for a minimum of 30 minutes, but guests are free to explore and enjoy for longer, until 4:00 PM, when the caving area closes for safety reasons.

This is a rare and thrilling experience found only in this part of the region.

Trekking & 4x4 Options

Full Trek (2–2.5 hrs one way): Moderate-to-difficult trail, best for adventure seekers.
Partial 4x4 + Trekking: About 30% off-road ride, rest on foot (seasonal).
Full 4x4 Access (Dec–Mar, weather permitting): Reach waterfalls and caves without trekking.

Chympe Waterfalls

After caving, continue towards the majestic Chympe Waterfalls. Cascading into turquoise natural pools, this hidden gem is perfect for swimming, photography, and unwinding after your adventure. A freshly prepared lunch will be served during the trip
