Terms Policy

Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only after the client pays 10% of the total package cost as an advance.

  • The remaining 90% must be paid at least 7 days (1 week) before the client’s arrival.

  • Uin Holidays reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings if payments are not made as per the schedule.

Payments

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods communicated by Uin Holidays.

  • All prices are quoted in INR (Indian Rupees) unless specified otherwise.

  • Any additional charges (e.g., entry fees, meals not included, adventure activities, personal expenses) will be borne by the client.

Cancellations & Refunds

Client-Initiated Cancellations:

  • Cancellation 30 days or more before the trip: 90% refund of advance.

  • Cancellation 15–29 days before the trip: 50% refund of advance.

  • Cancellation less than 15 days before the trip: no refund of advance.

  • If the client fails to make the final payment at least 7 days before arrival, the booking will be considered cancelled automatically and the advance will be forfeited.

Company-Initiated Cancellations:

  • If Uin Holidays cancels the trip due to unavoidable reasons, the client will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

  • Refunds will be credit within 10–15 working days (2-4% platform fee applicable for refund)

Itinerary & Services

  • The itinerary shared is indicative and may be adjusted due to weather, local conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Uin Holidays will ensure all promised services but reserves the right to substitute accommodations, transport, or activities if necessary.

Travel Documents & Permits

  • Clients must carry valid government-issued photo ID proof during the trip.

  • Special permits (if required) will be arranged with prior notice; Uin Holidays will assist where applicable.

Health & Safety

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate in the trip and any adventure activities.

  • Adventure activities involve inherent risks, and participation is voluntary.

  • Uin Holidays is not liable for injuries, accidents, or health issues during the trip.

Liability

  • Uin Holidays works with third-party service providers (hotels, drivers, guides, activity operators).

  • While we ensure quality, we are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by third parties, natural events, or unforeseen situations.

Code of Conduct

  • Clients must respect local customs, culture, and environment.

  • Uin Holidays promotes responsible tourism and reserves the right to withdraw services if a client engages in misconduct.

Force Majeure

  • Uin Holidays shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, extreme weather).

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Shillong, Meghalaya, India.

  • Uin Holidays will make every effort to resolve issues amicably before legal steps are taken.
